It is characterized by facilitating a critique of contemporary culture and society, using different strategies derived from the broad and heterodox use of the videographic medium. Since its founding, the Observatory has fled from prefabricated models and formats, focusing its attention on research, understood as the sense of adventure of knowledge in the contemporary world. The project speaks in the era of the serialized image, of that which has not yet been "identified", of that which is not foreseen or that which ventures into the unknown. The UFO Archives collect and document three decades, from analog video to digital video in the era of "social" networks. The materials contained in the Archive are the result of various thematic research projects, a whole constellation of titles with the common denominator of their free expression and reflection on individual and collective fears and pleasures, together building a multi-faceted vision. , like thousands of small eyes, that deepen and explore our world, or announce other possible ones.
