Another of the great exhibitions that were held within the framework of Digital Culture, Postmedia Condition brought to Madrid a selection of works by almost 40 artists from the
country invited to ARCO this year: Austria. The term "postmedia" is ideal to characterize the set of artistic practices on which the concept of this exhibition is based. Artists experiment with media, materials and functions, adapt new production processes, mix properties of different media
and build new reference systems. There is no longer a dominant medium. On the contrary, the diverse media influence, condition and reflect each other. Interdisciplinary processes among drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, cinema, video, literature, architecture, design, Internet art and computer language become principle
methodologies in this exhibition that placed our attention on Austrian art and its international contribution.
