Audiovisual artist explores the concept of reality as a fictional entity, stripping it of any familiarity and distorting its constants. His works question the complex mechanism of construction of fiction and reality both in the realm of our imagination and in the field of images. Díaz Morales points out the supposed realism or the verisimilitude effect of the instituting productions, revealing that the continuity and verisimilitude of the story is only constructed from its discontinuity and fictionalization. Finally, it is worth mentioning the importance acquired by the audiovisual device used, the notable implementation and the exhibition design of the author, which infers the phenomenon of the presence of the moving image in museum spaces. His work has been widely exhibited in places, such as the Tate Modern in London; Pompidou Center; Stedelijk Museum and De Appel, Amsterdam; Le Fresnoy, Roubaix; CAC, Vilnius; General Art, New York City; Ludwig Museum, Budapest; Sao Paulo Biennale; Sydney Biennale; Miró Foundation, Barcelona; MUDAM, Luxembourg; Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon; and the Biennale di Venezia.
