Pioneer of netivism, co-founder of The Electronic Disturbance Theater (EDT), a group that develops Virtual-Sit-In technologies in solidarity with the Zapatista communities of Chiapas. He is senior editor of The Thing and, together with Fake-Fakeshop Worker - a hybrid performance group -, he appears at the Whitney Biennial in 2000. He has collaborated with other artists on numerous online art projects: with Francesca da Rimini in Dollspace and with Diane Ludin in the Aphanisis Project. His essays have been published in Ctheory and in Corpus Delecti: Performance Art of the Americas (Routledge, 2000).
Within the framework of Banquete03_metabolism and communication, a series of seminars took place around the analogy between social and communicative networks in which Domínguez participates. It also presents the online interactive installation, i-BPE 3.0 (iBiology Patent Engine) (2004/2005).
