
Architect, since the 90s, he has investigated the relationship between architecture and new media. He has been co-editor of the publications NOX and FORUM. He directs the Digital Design department at the University of Kassel, Germany. In 2004, he published the work Machining Architecture in collaboration with other artists. He has received numerous international awards such as Zeeuwse Architectuurprijs, 1998; Lakov Chernikov Award, 1997; Mart Stam, 1991; Archiprix, 1989. He has participated in the Venice Architecture Biennale, 2004, 2002 and 2000; Victoria & Albert Zoomorphic, London, 2003; Non Standard Architectures at the Center Pompidou, Paris, 2003.
