
Journalist, exhibition curator and founder of Admira, an agency based in Milan dedicated since 1997 to the organization of cultural events in the photographic field. With Admira he has curated numerous exhibitions, both individual—Peter Beard, Edward Burtynsky, Robert Frank, Mario Giacomelli, Duane Michals, Ugo Mulas, Martin Munkacsi, Max Pam, Walter Rosenblum, Jan Saudek, Eugene Smith, Jonathan Torgovnik—and group exhibitions—Photo League: New York 1936-1951; Close nobody is normal; Unsuspected photographers. From 1992 to 1997 he directed the activities of the Diaframma-Kodak Cultura gallery in Milan, organizing more than eighty exhibitions, among which those of photographers such as Gisele Freund, Luis González Palma, Lewis W. Hine, Inge Morath and Andrés Serrano stand out. Since its first edition in 1998, she has collaborated with PHotoEspaña as curator of exhibitions and catalogues, responsible for international projects (1999) and guest curator (2003). He has also directed the first four editions of Campus PHE, a program of workshops and conferences with masters of international photography (2004-2007). Between 2001 and 2005 he dedicated himself to the promotion of emerging photography under the direction of the ClicArt gallery in Milan, producing a monographic publication of each represented artist. Since 2001 she has been artistic director of Foto&Photo, international photography festival in Cesano Maderno, Milan. Within the framework of this festival, characterized by an extensive exhibition program, interdisciplinary conferences and symposiums take place intertwining topics such as philosophy, criticism or the photographic collection. Since 2005, he has been a member of Oracle, an international association of photography curators, which includes the most important museums, institutions and independent curators from around the world.
