He graduated in International Business Management and Spanish from the University of New South Wales, Sydney. His studies and professional activities have led him to spend long stays in Indonesia, Italy, Spain and the United States, among others. She has been a collaborator at MediaLabMadrid and completed internships at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice. He is currently assistant to Paul Schwarzbaum, director of restoration at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
Participates in Medialab Madrid with the project Los Gritos del Muro (2004), a visual essay on the evolution of political graffiti in Madrid, concentrating the strength of graffiti as a form of dialogue and confrontation. This project is a critique of the effects of time and the political and sociological transition in accordance with art and the word. This project is the result of a collaboration between Fernando Figueroa, the photographer and graphic artist Alberto del Castillo (fine arts student at the Complutense University of Madrid), and the project director, Julia Burns (Australian artist and graduate of International Business Management , UNSW Sydney, Australia).
