Philosopher, sociologist and anarchist. Graduated in Political Science and History from the universities of Stanford and Berkeley. His thought has been identified within a primitivist current, characterized by considering that a free society is only possible if prehistoric ways of life are recovered. He was one of the main ideologues of the "battle of Seattle", which was a milestone of the anti-globalization movement - uniting union, environmental, student, anarchist, feminist, pacifist, human rights, religious movements - against the summit of the World Organization Commerce in 1999. Editor of two anthologies of contemporary libertarian texts, author of Elements of Refusal, Futuro Primitivo, Running on Emptiness, Against Civilization: Readings and Reflections and dozens of his short essays disseminated on anarchist websites.
