Philosopher, professor of philosophy at the University of Barcelona, his field of work is the history of philosophy, where, following parameters extracted from Heidegger, he has developed a very important work of rereading Greek and modern traditions. Notable among his works are: History of Philosophy (1973), Rereading Kant (1989), Of Greece and Philosophy (1990) and Calculus and Being (1991).
