(São Paulo, Brazil, 1960)
Musician, composer, poet, performer and video artist. All his works share a common territory: the word. His desire to materially explore language is what enhances the transition and migration from one discipline to another. He was the vocalist and composer of the rock group Titãs, one of the most important Brazilian rock groups in the 1980s. After leaving Titas, he began a career in which he moved between languages, releasing the album-book-video Nome in 1993, which was followed by Ninguém (1995), O Silêncio (1996) and Um Som (1998), works in which It combines poetry, graphic arts, plastic arts, music and cinema. His poetry is a strange exercise in materialism in which words are transformed into poetic creatures, where the word is an essential part of what it designates.
