Through a presentation about the Transmediale Festival, Andrea Broeckman addresses a series of topics corresponding to current art and its relationship with technology. From this, he reflects on art, problematizing the concept of media art, the exhibition space and the role of new technologies as support and material for creative production. Here, he includes his position regarding the responsibility that art schools currently have towards these new media, and how they should offer their students different registers of expression that are related to the reality in which they are immersed.
