Writer, journalist and cultural advisor, he coordinates the editing of transversal projects that connect art, literature, science and society. In 1978, together with Fernando Aramburu and José Félix del Hoyo, Cloc founded a surrealist initiative to intervene in public space through humor and provocation. He has collaborated in various media such as El Diario Vasco or La Voz de Euskadi, covering interview sections or current affairs. Between 1996 and 1998 he coordinated the international conference cycle More than six proposals for the next Millennium, which included the participation of thinkers such as Noam Chomsky and Fernando Arrabal. As a writer he has explored various genres: stories and stories, plays, travel books, learning, etc. His novels have been awarded on different occasions: he obtained the National Prize for Literature from the Basque government for The Sands and the Temple (1985), The Madonna of the Tempest (1989), The Descent of Orpheus (1991), Benares (1995) or The Mandrake Game (1996). In addition, La Piedra del Imán has received the Ateneo de Sevilla Prize in 2001 and El gospel del Tíbet has received the Ateneo de Seville Prize for historical novels in 2008. He participated in the different banquet editions, organized by Medialab Madrid-Centro Cultural Conde Duque.
