Curator of art, exhibitions and cultural manager. Graduate in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Between 2002 and 2004 he was a room assistant in the MediaLab Madrid project. Between 2004 and 2006 he was responsible for the MediaLab Madrid education program together with Laura Fernández, in which they developed the cultural mediation program and the Interactive? project. Between 2006 and 2014, Marcos García was responsible for the cultural program of Medialab-Prado in Madrid together with Laura Fernández. Director of Medialab-Prado from 2014 to 2021.
He has participated in national and international forums on digital culture, medialabs, citizen innovation and free culture.
