Curatorship, catalogue authors and editorial direction: Karin Ohlenschläger and Luis Rico
International Festival of Art, Science, Technology, and Society. The emblematic aspect of this Festival is that MediaLab Madrid launched its activities with the celebration of the festival. It consisted of an exhibition—in which 17 international artists participated—a workshop-meeting, and a series of lectures organized in collaboration with the Complutense University of Madrid, the Winter Science and Technology Series of the Complutense Forum, with a total of 18 lectures. This direct collaboration with the Complutense University of Madrid at the start of MediaLab Madrid was one of the key reasons why Karin Ohlenschläger decided that the Complutense University of Madrid should be the place to house and safeguard the MediaLab Madrid Archive.
