Psychotherapist and teacher. He began his career as a clinical psychologist with systemic family and academic training. He is currently an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Creator of Internal Family Systems (IFS), a grounded therapeutic model that depathologizes the multi-part personality.
He has written several books and articles throughout his career, addressing topics related to IFS and family therapy.
