Petko Dourmana

(Elena, Bulgaria, 1970)

Multimedia artist, his projects combine information technology and art. He is co-founder of the InterSpace Media Art Center, located in Sofia. He participates in Medialab Madrid with Metabolizer, one of his net art projects, a website that allows the user to visualize the effects of chemical substances on the body of the virtual subject. In the Post Global Warming Survival Kit installation, he presents a dark post-apocalyptic vision, including a deserted coast and a caravan filled with various measuring devices that viewers can observe through special infrared devices.
