Information Scientist. Graduate in Engineering (Business Organization, from the UPC) and Doctor in Cognitive Neuroscience from the UB. He is principal investigator of the Systems Biology and Bioinformation Group of the Aragonese Institute of Health Sciences, whose line of research is neurobiology and theoretical neuroscience. His research work focuses on the dynamics of information, starting from the molecular systems of the cell, to the functioning of the nervous system and the integration of individuals in complex societies. He is co-founder with Michael Conrad of FIS (Foundations of Information Science).
