
Doctor from the Department of History of Philosophy, Aesthetics and Philosophy of Culture of the University of Barcelona. He is a professor in the Arts and Humanities Studies at the Open University of Catalonia, where he coordinates art and contemporary thought subjects. At the same time, he is a professor of the official Master's degree in curating art and new media MECAD/ESDi at the Ramon Llull University, and collaborates as a guest professor at other state universities.
Since 2002 he has been director of Artnodes, the UOC's art, science and technology magazine. He is a co-founding member of the YASMIN network of art, science and technology (ACT) of the Mediterranean countries promoted by UNESCO Digiarts, Leonardo/ISAST, Olats, Artnodes/UOC and the University of Athens. Researcher in contemporary thought, art and digital culture within the GRECS group on Culture, Technology and Society, with whom he is currently developing the R&D project CSO2010-16502 on emotions and digital technologies.
He participated in MediaLab Madrid in the round table “Humanities, digital culture and new professions” (June 20, 2006) in which: Pau Alsina, Janine Sprüker, Adolfo Estalella, Ángel Jiménez and Tomás Delclós participated.
