Visual artist whose career hybridizes painting, sculpture and video installations. His work has a “luminous identity”, light is the matter that he explores both in its absence and through the different nuances, generating a diary of threads of light and a poetics of geometry. Experiment with different LED materials, neons, cathodes and fiber optics, combined with wood and lacquered metals. Some of his most notable individual exhibitions are: The spirit of wine (second Genio Otazu, 2020), More than light (Marlborough Gallery, Barcelona, 2018), Light on white (Marlborough Gallery, Madrid 2017), With its own light (Exhibition Center As Quintas, Asturias, 2016), Entreluces (Galería Armaga, León 2016), Interior Light (Galería Espacio Líquido, 2005), Inside, the Rain (Museo Barjola, 2009) and Lines of Light (CCAI, 2010). He carries out projects within the field of art of new multimedia and installation technologies, such as the one titled Secuencias 24, which have been exhibited in museums such as the ZKM in Karlsruhe (Germany, 2009) or Laboral (Gijón, 2008), through the transnational exhibition “Banquet, nodes and networks.”
Participate in the exhibition "Banquet-Nodes and networks" with the installation Sequences 24, an installation of fiberglass panels through which a flow of light of changing color circulates, visually materializing that of the genomic map, the 24 pairs of human chromosomes.
