Graduate in Medicine (University of Coimbra) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (Ar.co, Lisbon, Portugal). Master of Fine Arts (2009, Malmö Art Academy, Sweden). In 2015, PhD in Arts from the University of Westminster, London.
She has participated in international events such as Manifesta 5, Photo España 6, or the 29th Sao Paulo Biennial (2010). In addition to being exhibited at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, at Joshibi University, Tokyo (2010), at the Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Ireland (2013), at the Portuguese National Museum of Contemporary Art (2018), at the MAAT Museum, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (2019), among other museums and art galleries.
He participated in MediaLab Madrid through "Moments of contemporary Portuguese video art (PHotoEspaña06)", which brought together works in this discipline by some of the most innovative young artists on the Portuguese scene. For this exhibition, which was part of the 2006 Portuguese Festival, each author was asked to develop a monologue with deeply personal roots that alluded directly or indirectly to contemporary reflections and representations that have nature as their subject.
