Patron, writer, journalist, collector and artistic curator, her career is linked to the figure of Joseph Beuys. The meeting in 1971 with the German artist was decisive for De Domizio, since then he has dedicated himself to the dissemination of Beuysian thought, through donations, debates, debates, conferences, publications, conventions, exhibitions,... The speech of Joseph Beuys ( Krefeld, 1921 – Düsseldorf, 1986) is based on the belief in the universal power of human creation and the conviction that art can provoke revolutionary changes. According to him, "every human being is a potential artist." Defender of the notion of social sculpture (according to which sculpture does not need to produce objects, but rather perform actions or communicate thoughts that shape people's consciousness), Beuys coined the concept of "expanded art", with which he promoted the integration of art and life to achieve a state in which the individual could live in harmony with the social and natural environment.
In the banquet_ exhibition, different works by Beuys are shown, such as his conference and the documentation of the Aktive Neutralität debate. Die Überwindung von Kapitalismus und Kommunismus, held on January 20, 1985 in Rorschach/Switzerland. Also his project Operazione Difesa della Natura, where he proposed the synthesis of his artistic and human philosophy and placed the practice of art as an instrument for the creation of a new culture. Soziale Plastik, was a manifesto, broadcast by satellite at Documenta 6 in Kassel, where it explains the catalytic role of art in the construction of a new self-organized and participatory social architecture.
