José Pérez de Lama Halcón is a doctor in Architecture and professor at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the University of Seville. In 2009 he founded the FabLab Sevilla at the university of the Andalusian city, of which he continues to be director. For ten years, together with Sergio Moreno and Pablo de Soto, he participated in the hackitectura.net group, carrying out projects that related free technologies, social networks and urban territories.
His works have been exhibited, among other places, at the ZKM in Karlsruhe and LABoral in Gijón. His latest published book is titled Yes, We Are Open! Digital manufacturing, free technologies and culture (RUBooks, 2014).
