Intermediate artist blurs the dividing line between installation, acoustic experience and robotics. He is director of En Red O-Symposium of Electroacoustic Music and Co-Director of the Sonoscop of the Orquestra del Caos, based at the Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona, President of the International Conference of Electroacoustic Music of the CIM/UNESCO and member of the Académie Internationale de Musique Electroacoustique/Bourges. His political commitment is aimed at promoting the participation of civil society in public life, which is why he founded Nau Côclea with Clara Garí, and also the Orquestra del Caos. He is a collaborator of the Institut International de Musique Electroacoustique of Bourges (France). He has an extensive career as a teacher in various fields of multimedia creation, sound and perception: Professor of Digital Sound at the GMMD-Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and at ESDI-Universitat Ramon Llull, he also collaborates with other universities and research institutions. artistic such as Metrònom, MECAD, Pompeu Fabra University, Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Autonomous University of Barcelona. In recent years his work has revolved around philosophical and epistemological themes, reflection on the limits of language and artificial intelligence, information metabolism or the limits of human perception and understanding. His works in this field include installations and monographic concerts such as Silenci, Trànsfer, La Casa de la Pólvora, Mega kai Mikron, Minf and On Nothin. Luci, which explores the complex emergent behaviors of populations of elementary individuals, won, in 2008, the ARCO – Beep Prize for Electronic Art.
Participate in Medialab with Luci. Without a name and without memory (2008), an interactive installation that mimics the biological oscillations of firefly colonies with 60 electronic and 128 computational elements, which react to light emissions.
