Architect, psychologist and visual artist from Madrid.
He studied at the School of Arts and Trades in 1956-57, where he received the Carmen del Río Prize. He studied Architecture. He received the Extraordinary End-of-Career Award in 1964. He received the National End-of-Career Award in 1965. He taught Drawing. He received his Doctorate in Architecture in 1968. He studied Psychology. He taught at ETSAM. He took part in courses at the Computing Centre of the University of Madrid. He published essays and participated in various conferences. He was a member of the International Society of Empirical Aesthetics. He received the National Award for Technical Research in Teams in 1973-74. He did research on Computable Forms and Cybernetic Aesthetics.
In 1975 he won the chair of Analysis of Architectural Forms at the ETSAM and was director of the Department of Architectural Graphic Ideation at the UPM between 1995 and 2004.
She participated in MediaLab Madrid through "Future strategies for the Malasaña neighborhood". November 17, 2005. Application of new technologies and sustainable development programs. Project directed by Mª Jesús Muñoz Pardo (professor at the Madrid School of Architecture). Round table: Mª Jesús Muñoz Pardo (ETSAM), Javier Seguí de la Riva (ETSAM), Catia Jiménez (philosopher) and Santiago Mercado (artist). Presentation of a collective project that uses the Madrid neighborhood of Malasaña as a laboratory for research and social action. The project is the result of the seminar Weaving Architecture and Art, taught by Mª Jesús Muñoz Pardo at the ETSAM.
