Photographer, studied at the Folkwang School of the University of Essen. His work addresses the relationships between humans and flora, food technology, research centers, supplier server groups and telephone companies. Since 2009 he has been a professor at the Berlin University of Technology and Economics on the course communication design. His works are represented in public and private collections and have been shown nationally and internationally in numerous individual and group exhibitions: 1993 Transformations, Museum of Work and Technology, Mannheim.

He participated in MediaLab with his photographic series 0/1 Places of data flow, 2000, a graphic incursion into the heart of the information society: databases and servers. The degree of abstraction of the images is an allegory of the simultaneity and equivalence of data in the digital age.
