Graduate in Painting and Audiovisuals from the Faculty of the Basque Country. Professor at ESAD in Strasbourg. Francisco Ruiz de Infante's work focuses on the field of audiovisual and installation. His plastic universe abounds in claustrophobic and dark spaces that immerse the viewer in a nightmarish experience and take him on a journey through the corners of memory and the subconscious. His work has been exhibited at CEAAC, Strasbourg, France; Metronom, Barcelona (2005); Cervantes Institute of Casablanca, Morocco; Grand Theater Institute of Reims, France (2004); La Gallera de Valencia, Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Langres, France (2003) ; or at Art Basel. Elba Benítez Gallery, Basel (2002).
He presents the video installation Reina (2007) at Medialab Madrid, where he addresses the symbiosis of the biological and the technological in a single technobiological political network, co-participating in a single common information flow.
