Paleontologist and professor at the Autonomous University in the biology department since 1998. Her scientific profile focuses on Systematics and Morphology. His central contributions deal with the evolutionary patterns of morphological transformations involved in the macroevolutionary events of reptiles and birds. He has published more than 75 articles including paleontology books. Its object of study is archosaurs (dinosaurs, petrosaurs) and their recent descendants (crocodiles and birds). His main research is based on macroevolutionary events integrating neo-ontological and paleo-biological data. Some of them have been considered pioneering approaches in Theoretical Morphology and Morphological Integration. For 30 years he has taught courses related to evolutionary thinking, the development of systematics, and the history of biology. He has participated in Banquet II. Communication in Evolution.
