The workshop consisted of a practical introduction to the use of Arduino, in connection with programs such as PureData, Processing, Flash, Director or Java applications. Arduino is an open hardware system for artists and designers that simplifies the use of microprocessors for the creation of interactive installations and rapid prototypes of electro-mechanical devices. The workshop was attended by artists, musicians, computer scientists, designers and telecommunications engineers.
