Biologist, journalist, scientific communicator and professor. Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, specialized in paleontology, he participated in excavations of sites such as Atapuerca. In 1995 he changed his investigative career and completed a Master's Degree in Journalism at the Autonomous University of Madrid-El País to disseminate scientific knowledge. He published in numerous media (Cinco Días, 20 minutes, El País, El Mundo, ABC, Muy Interesante, Quo, Público, La Marea, Orsai, Amazings, La Tercera, etc). He created Baquía, one of the first exclusively digital media, and the science and technology blog Retiario that began to be published on elmundo.es, then on 20 minutes and RTVE.es and finally on eldiario.es. In his role as a scientific communicator, he was a collaborator on 'Canal C:' on Canal Satélite Digital, on 'Esto me sona, Las afternoons del citizen García', on Radio Nacional de España, and on the program 'Órbita Laika' on La 2. on RTVE as well as a regular speaker at the Naukas congress in Bilbao. He was an associate professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the Rey Juan Carlos University, where he taught subjects related to digital journalism.
