Doctor from the UPV\/EHU (2008). Co-director of the AKMEKA research group, group A of the Basque University System. Professor of the Department of Sculpture and Art and Technology of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV\/EHU where he began his teaching work in 1999. Vice Dean of University Extension (2009-2017) and Director of Cultural Action of the UPV\/EHU (2017-2020). Currently coordinator of the PhD program for Research in Contemporary Art and is a member of the academic committee of the Master in Contemporary, Technological and Performative Art. <\/p>\n<p>As an artist, member of the collectives SEAC, Euskadi Selection of Concept Art (1994-1998) and Fundaci\u00f3n Rodr\u00edguez (1994-2012), participating in artistic projects related to performance, new audiovisual and technological media and collaborative art. He has also been linked to independent cultural associations and initiatives. He was a member of the Amarika Assembly, a citizen group that developed the cultural co-management project Proyecto Amarika (2008-2011) with the Provincial Council of Araba.<\/p>\n<p>He participated in Medialab Madrid banquete08 with the blog \u201cNetworks: forms of symbolic and social construction\u201d (June 5, 2008) together with Santiago Eraso, Arturo (Fito) Rodr\u00edguez and Jorge Luis Marzo. Also with \u201cArt on network(s)\u201d (July 7, 2008), \u201cNetwork tools, 1\u201d (August 6, 2008), \u201cMuseum as a hub (network tools, 2) (September 8 2008)\u201d and \u201cReset the system.
