He is a co-founder of the Arduino project. He has a Master&#039;s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, a PhD in Interaction Design, and has been a professor at Malm\u00f6 University since 2000. He has visited colleges and universities in America, Europe, and Asia and has written numerous books on programming. <\/p>\n<p>His artistic work, especially low-fi interventions parodying his own field of research, has been present at the 8th Istanbul Biennial in 2003 and the 3rd Berlin Biennial in 2004. He is also the founder of various initiatives: the Critical Design group Aeswad, the Labbs.net Community, the digital art collective Desearch and Revelopment, the Experiments in Art and Technology group SWEden\/DENmark and the media server Goldiaq.<\/p>\n<p>He participated in Medialab Madrid with the workshop \u201cOpen hardware tools: Arduino\u201d (from October 5 to 9, 2005). The workshop consisted of a practical introduction to the use of Arduino, in connection with programs such as PureData, Processing, Flash, Director or Java applications.
