He is part of the research group IAS-Research Center for Life, Mind and, Society. In his research he explores the fields of philosophy of mind, science, technology and society, philosophy of biology, cognitive neurosciences and life artificial. He has been a post-doctoral researcher at the Center for Computational Neuroscience and Robotics of the University of Sussex and at the Center de Recherche en Epistemologie Appliqu\u00e9e of the CNRS\/Polytechnique in Paris, as well as stays at the Autonomous System Lab of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, the Konrad Lorenz Institute in Vienna and the Institute of Higher National Studies Quito (Ecuador). Since September 2012, he has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Philosophy at the UPV\/EHU. From May 2016 to August 2018, he served as Director of Research, Development and Innovation Services in Citizenship Rights, Participation and Transparency of the Barcelona City Council and director of the Decidim.org project. The result of the research is 2 books and more than 50 publications in prestigious journals, with 17 publications in journals of the first quartile in Philosophy, Psychology, Social Sciences and Neuroscience.
