Deputy director of the National Institute of Bioinformatics and senior researcher at the Center for Astrobiology, and director since 2001 of the Master&#039;s Degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the UCM. His research areas are systems biology, the reconstruction and study of metabolic networks at a genomic scale, molecular evolution, prebiotic conjunction and origin of the cell, and complex dynamics and pattern formation in biochemical systems. <\/p>\n<p>Participated in the Cibervisi\u00f3n02 seminar.
